I found the approach of Dr Paul quiet abrupt and harsh, she was less willing to listen and more invested in saying how appointment bookings should operate in her mind, when from a patient perspective the experience is very different. She came across rushed and lacked the empathy and engagement that is required for the doctor-patient relationship. This is the first time I have experienced quiet an uncomfortable and unsettling experience with a doctor at cloister road surgery.
My Doctor and this service is wonderful, it's like it used to be when I was a child growing up and you are made to feel like part of the family and you feel comfortable talking about anything. also feel safe that if a diagnosis can't be made straight away you'll be given something to try or referred to a specialist very soon which takes the worry out of a lot of things. The staff and Doctors especially Mrs Paul make you feel safe and almost a joy to go to the Doctors.
Owing to her exemplary patient care skills, four or five years ago, Dr Paul prescribed for me the cheapest and yet the best and the most effective medicine - WALKING!
I cannot over emphasise the physical and mental health benefits of this medicine. Surface to say it has drastically reduced my Arthritis-related aches and pains and the attendant frequent need for me to visit the surgery and hospitals. Walking appears to have some inbuilt anti-aging properties too. I strongly commend Dr Paul and her medicine to all patients, especially the elderly like me.
Very friendly and professional, she is the best Doctor at Cloister Road Surgery.
Dr. Paul was very thorough and clear in her consultation. Her clear and succinct breakdown of the situation was much appreciated. She also set out a clear back-up plan should the recommend course of action not have its desired impact which saves time.
